Step 1:
Selection and job commitment
MEDIMOVERS arranges interviews via video conference between hospitals/nursing homes and candidates on the basis of the profiles or positions sought.
We offer our partners only highly qualified personnel with appropriate German language skills. B1 level is the minimum standard. B2 level is desirable, but not always available.
When the employer wants to hire a specific professional, the process of immigration and integration into the working environment starts.
Step 2:
Immigration and integration
-
Work Visa
MEDIMOVERS arranges an appointment at the respective embassy for the applicant. Here the work visa for an activity in Germany is applied for. The time until a corresponding appointment takes place at the embassy in the applicant’s home country varies. Our good connection to the embassies usually helps to minimize waiting times.
-
Recognition or equivalence of the professional qualification
MEDIMOVERS submits the documents to verify the equivalence of the professional qualification in the corresponding federal state.
The graphic below shows the process in the health professions that currently has to be gone through, depending on whether equivalence exists from the point of view of the authorities. In both cases, we take care of successful recognition.
In nursing, the procedures are similar; here, in addition to the knowledge examination, there is also the alternative option of an adaptation course, which usually consists of an internship without an examination.
